Opened in 1950 as headquarters for research and study in the agricultural sciences, Hills Building includes classrooms and office space for a variety of units. The building is named for Joseph Hills, who retired in 1942 after guiding UVM’s College of Agriculture and Extension as dean across more than four decades.
