Female physicians were perpetrators of crimes known as “children’s euthanasia,” a state-organized activity carried out in “Special Children’s Wards” in Nazi Germany. Presenting a collective biography of a total of about thirty such physicians for the first time in existing research, Professor Kaelber will reveal how they participated in the systematic mass murder of thousands of minors, and why.
