DESCRIPTION:The event investigates philosophical questions such as: What re
mains after a performance ends? How do we navigate its shifting layers of
perception? What happens when the ephemeral cannot be preserved? The eveni
ng includes a lecture by Kenneth Richards (Religion)\, followed by a perfo
rmance from the music and movement collective\, soft rocks. The performanc
e features local musicians and movers\, as well as faculty from Music (Mat
t LaRocca\, Kyle Saulnier) and Theatre and Dance (Julian Barnett\, Lynn El
len Schimoler). Projection design by Vanish Works (Alex Reeves) adds an ad
ditional dynamic layer to the experience.
