This year, we celebrate 50 years of UVM’s Natural Areas System, comprising 2,400 acres of unique natural communities, including Mount Mansfield’s summit ridgeline, Shelburne Pond, Pease Mountain, and Centennial Woods. Join us for talks on the history and academic use of these areas, and learn about new initiatives to engage with these “living laboratories” for conservation, stewardship, and UVM’s planetary health efforts.
