Sample delicious bites and meet the makers behind more than 20 local farms and food producers, including 50Cut, Aqua ViTea, Cabot Creamery Cooperative, Chelsea Approved, Chug Water, Ecobean, Garuka Bars, Global Village Foods, Harvesting Good, H2GO Energy Water, Intervale Center, Just Cut, Little Lad's NE LLC, Mighty Mudita, New England Dairy, Sherpa Foods, Shrubbly, Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream, Vermont First, Vermont Nut Free Chocolates, Vermont Smoke & Cure, and UVM’s own: Catamount Educational Farm, Climate Kitchen, C.R.E.A.M. Program, Proctor Maple Research Center.

Why We Do This

Farm Fest is part of Eat Like a Local Week, a regional initiative launched by Sodexo sustainability managers to promote local food systems and sustainable sourcing across campuses, schools, and workplaces. At UVM, it’s a celebration of our deep partnerships with Vermont producers and a chance to highlight the impact of choosing local.

By investing in these relationships, UVM Dining Services helps strengthen the local economy, reduce environmental impact, and build a more connected campus community. When students meet the farmers and makers, food becomes more than a meal—it becomes a story of sustainability, collaboration, and pride.
