Running for over 25 years in Costa Rica, this program integrates academic content across the biological and social sciences with the real-world challenges and opportunities faced by a rapidly developing Latin American country with unparalleled biodiversity.
As part of an integrative capstone experience, students engage in a service-learning component in which they apply the knowledge they've gained to a community-identified sustainable development project on the Osa Peninsula.
