Hundreds of Vermont youth in grades 7-12 are learning STEM skills, teamwork, and more as they compete on robotics teams in FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC), supported by a partnership between the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences and UVM Extension 4-H.

 
The Vermont FTC Regional Championship event is coming right up on Saturday, February 8th, at South Burlington High School.

The public is encouraged to attend — Prepare to be amazed at the skills, creativity, and teamwork that will be on display! 

Please consider joining the fun as a volunteer! There are some spots still open that don’t require knowing anything about FIRST or robots, as well as a few technical roles. Training, shirts, and lunch are provided.

All volunteers must register through the FIRST dashboard to complete youth protection screening in order to volunteer.  It's fast and painless, but required.
