We constantly see the past differently as we move through time, and in particular, we ask different questions and notice different things about the past. How does the Nazi rise to power of 1933 look from the vantage point of 2025? What new questions might we have about it, and what new things might we notice? How are these different from the ways historians have looked at these events in previous decades? What does it mean that the events of 1933 have now passed out of living memory?
