An Introduction to Comics-Based Research

Making comics has rapidly become an innovative practice for researchers across a diverse range of academic disciplines. Comics can be incorporated into all stages of scholarly inquiry, including data generation,​ collection, and triangulation; data visualization and analysis; and research communication and dissemination. This hands-on workshop will provide a general introduction to Comics-Based Research, and we will engage in several drawing exercises to explore comics principles. We will provide all the necessary tools and supplies.
