 within the global guitar community\, Meyer serves on the boards of the Twi
 sted Spruce Music Foundation\, the Classical Guitar Society of Upstate New
  York\, and the Great Lakes Guitar Society. He is professor of guitar at S
 yracuse University’s Setnor School of Music and regularly appears as a p
 erformer\, lecturer\, adjudicator\, and educator at festivals and universi
 ties throughout the United States and abroad. Meyer holds a Doctor of Musi
 cal Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music and has released recordin
