Staff Council Employee Lunch and Learn

As we settle in to a new academic year Staff Council and HR Talent Development are happy to co-sponsor bringing Porter Knight from Productivity Vermont to present on a pair of topics that will help our UVM employees stay organized and focused throughout the coming year.  Sign up for one or both sessions.  Each session is offered in both a remote and in-person setting.  Free Pizza will be available for In-Person attendees in Waterman 427!

Organizing Best Practices

Too much to do and not enough time? Drowning in Email? This session is designed to put you back in charge of your day so you can get more done with less stress. We’ll explore why certain list and calendar tricks work, and the keys to staying on top of email. You’ll leave this session better able to keep track of your commitments, get work done on time, and communicate your capacity to others.

Learning Objectives

  •  Recognize benefits of lists from a neuroscience perspective, & Develop list-making skills to maximize brain performance
  • Identify techniques to use calendar effectively
  • Apply methodology to process email efficiently

About the Speaker
