Join us for the launch of the Rural Development Speaker Series, hosted by CDAE and UVM’s Leahy Institute for Rural Partnerships. The series highlights key issues in rural community economic development, including public policy, local government, agriculture, and community resilience. Our first speaker, Professor Brian Whitacre (Oklahoma State University), will present “Shifting Service Lines and Artificial Intelligence Use.”

Dr. Whitacre’s research centers on rural economic development, with a particular focus on the role technology can play in strengthening rural communities.
