 Across his career\, Shakey Graves—a.k.a. the performance moniker of Aust
 in\, Texas-born Alejandro Rose-Garcia—has intentionally created thrillin
 g musical adventures tailored to each fan: burning CDs and putting them in
  personalized decorated bags\; building intricate scavenger hunts that sen
 d fans in search of unique tapes\; and Bandcamp-exclusive releases.\n\n“
 The fans and musicians that really resonate with me—and the inexplicable
  ways that I find things that I like—are usually entirely through random
 ness and chaos and accident\,” Rose-Garcia says. “I’ve always been o
 n this quest to make people feel like my own music is a choose your own ad
 venture.”\n\nIn 2024 Rose-Garcia celebrated the ten year anniversary of 
 his And The War Came album with a special 10 Year Anniversary Edition rele
 ase featuring never before heard demos and b-sides from the recording proc
 ess and inviting fans to enter the long-since abandoned Music House. \n\nH
 is story continues to unfold\, but Shakey Graves Is Still A Gentleman From
  Texas.\n\n—\n\nClover County grew up under the sweet orange blossoms an
 d the spiky palms of sunny Central Florida. She began songwriting at the a
 ge of 13\, teaching herself to play from her dad’s collection of 1980’
 s songbooks. She drew inspiration from documentaries and interviews with i
 nfluential women in music\, such as Stevie Nicks\, Carol King\, Taylor Swi
 ft\, Ella Fitzgerald\, and Dolly Parton.\n\nThe name “Clover County”\,
  is a tribute to all the places she’s called home. After moving from Orl
 ando to Denver\, Atlanta to Birmingham\, to Athens\, Clover grew tired of 
 seeking a sense of home and relying on the next city to be the “lucky on
 e” where things would fall into place.\n\n“Clover County” represents
  a state of mind\, no matter where you’re planted you have the choice to
  grow. With every open mic and backyard show\, the Clover County following
  rapidly expanded\, despite no official music releases or means to afford 
 recording. Clover turned this to her advantage\, performing weekly in Athe
 ns\, building her audience the old-fashioned way.
