Pop-Up Exhibit: The Art of Healing 

March 18 through March 22

Featuring works from the Museum’s collections inspired by themes of hope, justice, love, and transformation, this pop-up exhibit is presented in compliment to the “Healing through Hope” Inclusive Excellence Symposium presented by UVM’s Division of Inclusive Excellence. The Art of Healing will be open during the Museum’s regular visiting hours from Tuesday, March 18 through Saturday, March 22, 2025.  

At the Fleming Museum of Art, we use art in all its forms to expand understanding of our shared human experience, encourage dialogue, and cultivate critical thinking. Including works from Carrie Mae Weems, Robert Indiana, Shanta Lee, Kara Walker, Diego Rivera, and more, The Art of Healing invites visitors to consider the powerful ways in which these artworks can express and inspire compelling emotions of hope and healing and reflect on what they can offer us as we move through our lives.  Admission to the Fleming and all museum events is free, head to uvm.edu/fleming to see what’s currently on view.
