The UVM 41^st Annual Order of the Engineer Ceremony, The order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride, individual integrity and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge a gap between training and practice; and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the Engineer. 

The Order is not a membership organization; there are never any meetings to attend or dues to pay. Instead, the Order fosters a unity of purpose and the honoring of one’s pledge lifelong.

The University of Vermont has been Chartered since 1986.  Since then, over 1,215 engineering seniors, faculty, and professionals have taken the Oath and wear the ring. Be a part of this proud tradition!!
