Meet a small, exceptional herd of Alpine dairy goats and discover the art of cheesemaking at this award-winning farm. Sage Farm Goat Dairy takes pride in crafting artisanal cheeses using only milk from their highly productive goats. Beyond cheese, they also produce maple syrup and fresh eggs from their pasture-raised hens. During the tour, you'll have the chance to interact with the goats and other farm animals while learning about Sage Farm’s sustainable farming practices, including their rotational grazing and milking systems. You’ll also get an inside look at their cheesemaking process, with a peek into the cheeseroom. The experience concludes with a guided cheese tasting, showcasing the delicious variety of cheeses made right on the farm. Held in Stowe.
