OLLI AT UVM PRESENTS

 In this online course, you will join the exploration of the art of the short story as we further delve into the Best American Short Stories of the Century, selected by John Updike. This session, we will concentrate on stories from the last part of the century (1973-1999) by both well-known and less-remembered writers. Participants read the stories in advance, then we discuss them within the context of their time, investigating multiple American themes. There is no prerequisite.
