"Nowrouz" marks the beginning of spring and holds deep cultural significance as the Persian New Year. This year, we are thrilled to celebrate it on March 30th, 2025, from 6-10 PM in the Grand Maple Ballroom at the Davis Center. We warmly invite the UVM community and the greater Burlington area to join us in this vibrant celebration of Iranian culture.

Now in its seventh year, our Nowruz event brings together students, faculty, staff, and community members for an evening of Persian music, dance, and authentic cuisine, along with the traditional Haft-sin display.
