From racial equality to trans rights, climate justice to Palestine solidarity, we are seeing alarming attacks on our constitutionally protected rights to free speech, assembly, and protest. Now the incoming Trump regime promises to intensify these attacks by targeting “the enemy within,” including using military force against protestors. How do we defend our rights? How do we come together to ensure justice for all? Come to this teach-in and hear from students, faculty, staff, union and community members about organizing for our collective liberation. Panelists will include members of Graduate Students United, Queer Student Union, Students for Justice in Palestine, United Academics, FreeHer, and more. The panel will be accompanied with discussion and brainstorming for building community and learning together in the year ahead.
