👀 We’ve all seen the TikToks and Tweets by now: Tim Waltz as the ‘midwestern dad’ who can help me change my tire and codify abortion rights; JD Vance as the ambitious ‘provider’ who climbed his way out of poverty to build a stable and wealthy family. These are two distinct masculinities, but how do they affect us when they are on a national stage? And how can you decide – for yourself – if any model of masculinity aligns with your values?

Please note: This is NOT a discussion about who the ‘better’ candidate is, but rather a conversation on how expressions of masculinity on a national stage affect the well-being and safety of all genders.
