Senior Research Manager Governmental Accounting Standards Board

Tammy leads research efforts at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), supporting the standard-setting process through internal research and external engagement with the academic community. She brings 15 years of academic experience in governmental and nonprofit accounting, with prior faculty appointments at Northern Illinois University and Middle Tennessee State University, where she was recognized as Outstanding Professor of Accounting.

She taught governmentaal and nonprofit courses, and her academic publications focus on governmental and nonprofit accounting and auditing topics. Before academia, she worked in public accounting and for the State of Arkansas presenting expert witness testimony in Medicaid fraud and utility rate cases.

This session is open to all UVM Students, Staff, and Faculty.
