Celebrate excellence in teaching and a lifelong love of learning at the 2026 George V. Kidder Outstanding Faculty Award and Lecture honoring Lizzy Pope G’13—beloved professor, nutrition researcher, associate professor in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and this year’s award recipient.

Presented annually by the UVM Alumni Association, this special award is the highest honor the Association bestows upon a faculty member for their lasting impact on alumni. The prestigious award commemorates the extraordinary Dr. George V. Kidder, Class of 1922, who served the university for more than 70 years, including as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and undoubtedly changed the lives of his students and the broader campus community.

All are welcome at this meaningful celebration of Lizzy’s contributions to education and mentorship.

Lecture to begin at 5:00pm
