The Occupational Health and Safety Office (OHSO) is pleased to announce that we have received approval to offer two OSHA-10 Construction Industry Outreach Training courses for UVM employees this summer. All eligible employees are asked to complete this training every three years. Managers and supervisors are encouraged to support employee participation by allowing work schedules to accommodate attendance whenever feasible.

The courses will be held during the weeks of July 27 and August 10. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no cost to attend. Please note that each training day begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. Light refreshments and coffee will be provided each morning. Participants should plan to bring their own lunch on the full-day session.

If you are unable to attend either of this summer's courses, additional OSHA-10 training courses will be offered monthly beginning in October. Registration information for those courses will be shared in a separate announcement later this year.

We strongly encourage all eligible employees to take advantage of this valuable training opportunity. Completing OSHA-10 training helps increase hazard awareness, strengthen safe work practices, and contribute to a safer workplace for everyone.
