About this Event
Celebrate the beauty of spring and experience the richness of Japanese culture at our Japanese Spring Festival! This interactive cultural event features a variety of hands-on activities and performances for all to enjoy. Guests can try origami, Japanese calligraphy, fish stamping, and charm making, while also sampling delicious sushi.
The festival will also feature a Taiko drum workshop (1:30–2:30 PM) where participants can learn about and experience traditional Japanese drumming. Fans of pop culture can enjoy cosplay appearances including Pikachu, Super Mario, and Demon Slayer characters.
In addition, there will be food and raffle fundraising, making it a fun and festive way to support campus programs while learning about Japanese traditions.
