Join the Plant Biology Department’s weekly James Marvin Seminar Series for a talk by Dr. Hao Chen, Assistant Professor in UVM’s Department of Agriculture, Landscape, and Environment (ALE).

Dr. Chen will present “Soil Chemistry at the Plant Interface: Reducing Contaminant Exposure and Improving Nutrient Supply.” Her research explores soil chemistry and the movement of pollutants through soil and water systems, including approaches to reduce contaminant exposure and improve nutrient availability.

Following the seminar, attendees are invited to gather in Jeffords 111 from 2:00–2:30 p.m. for refreshments and conversation.
