Join the Center for Health & Wellbeing for Intuitive Eating with Amy Sercel, dietitian at the Center for Health and Wellbeing. This 5-week series includes discussions and activities to help you re-connect with your inner Intuitive Eater. During this series, you will challenge the messages keeping you stuck in diet culture and become empowered to use your own body’s wisdom to guide food choices. We will talk about nutrition and self-care from a non-diet, Health at Every Size perspective in order to foster body neutrality and health-supportive behaviors for life.

 

Throughout the series we will touch on each of the ten principles of Intuitive Eating:

  • Reject the diet mentality
  • Honor your hunger
  • Make peace with food
  • Discover the satisfaction factor
  • Feel your fullness
  • Challenge the food police
  • Cope with your emotions with kindness
  • Respect your body
  • Movement – feel the difference
  • Gentle nutrition
