About this Event
Food is fuel! But how does that apply when you add movement into the mix?
Join Amy Sercel, RD and Micaela Young, NBC-HWC, for a conversation about fueling your physical activity, be it hiking, biking, running, skating, dancing, climbing, lifting, playing -- you name it! We will review general guidelines to help you make sure you’re fueling enough on a day-to-day basis. We’ll also give you some suggestions for what to eat before, during, and after movement, and talk through some strategies to help you figure out what type of fuel may work best for you.
Individuals of ALL activity levels are welcome and encouraged to attend! Whether you’re training for your next competitive event or you’re new to the world of movement, this conversation is for you!
