Jack and Shirley Silver Pavilion at Alumni House, 142

Please join us for a talk by Nadine Strossen, past president of the American Civil Liberties Union, a  professor of law emerita at New York Law School, and a senior fellow at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE). A leading scholar of hate speech and the first amendment, Strossen’s convictions are concisely encapsulated in the title of her talk, taken from her book of the same name: “HATE: Why We Should Resist it with Free Speech, Not Censorship.”
