Climate change is fundamentally reshaping food systems, underscoring the need to understand the social and structural forces that drive transformation. Hunt discusses recent and ongoing mixed-methods research conducted with U.S. farmers, ranchers, and consumers to explore pathways toward more resilient food systems. Integrating qualitative fieldwork with national survey and experimental data, this research examines how producer behavior, consumer preferences, and policy design can shape the direction of food system change.
