Join the Gund Institute for Environment community for a warm beverage while Ph.D. Shashank Poudel discusses his research. Coffee and tea starts flowing at 10 a.m. The talk will begin at 10:15 a.m.

Beyond the consensus of (accelerating) global warming, there is a rich dissensus within the climatic sciences on how to understand changing climate. Many other knowledge fields also increasingly locate climate change as an ontological or an epistemological rupture. This presentation examines the multiplicity of ways climate change figures as such a breach and suggests pathways to rethink research without necessarily knowing "more."

About Shashank: Shashank is a PhD student in the department of Community Development and Applied Economics. He studies processes, products, and politics of climate change knowledge production.
