You are lovingly invited to an 8 pm Valentine’s Day reading/gallery opening of Lu Aubin's solo show of text and images. “GIRDLED WITH THE GLEAMING: A POEM IN TWO PARTS” will be on view in the University of Vermont’s Francis Colburn gallery from February 10-19 on view weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. Williams Hall, 72 University Pl, Burlington Vermont. The exhibition includes a series of poetry and recent large-format 4×5 photography urging voracious living through devotion to people, reverence for the endurance of the natural world, and kinship with what is damaged or decaying. The work advocates survival, tenderness, and the fragile commandment to persist, however terrified.
