DESCRIPTION:As autism has become a growing focus of public dialogue\, polic
 y discussions\, and federally supported research\, UVM faculty are playing
  an important role in shaping inclusive\, community engaged approaches to 
 understanding and supporting autistic people.\n\nThe UVM Autism Collaborat
 ive is an interdisciplinary group of autistic and non‑autistic researche
 rs\, clinicians\, students\, caregivers\, and community members. Our team 
 is committed to coordinating research efforts and prioritizing the autisti
 c perspective in research. Our work emphasizes research and practice that 
 centers autistic voices and brings together perspectives from across disci
 plines and lived experiences.\n\nThis FAN event invites UVM faculty member
 s to learn about the Collaborative’s current research\, network building
  efforts\, and approach to interdisciplinary\, community-engaged scholarsh
 ip. Participants will also be invited to share feedback on research needs\
 , desired supports\, and ways in which this university-wide collaboration
