This day-long event, sponsored by the Lola and George Aiken Fund, is an annual event for youth in middle school through high school to learn about engineering, build skills, and network with engineering students, professors, and professionals in the field.

This hallmark event is sponsored by UVM’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS) and UVM Extension/Vermont 4-H.

The day includes a morning of networking, discovery and learning through the Engineering Scavenger Hunt, as youth visit exhibits by local businesses, organizations, and student groups. Each table will display, or have interactive exhibits, showcasing the varied types of engineering and career pathways. The afternoon is packed with an array of workshops featuring hands-on learning and exploration, including robots! Lunch will be provided. Registration and more information will be available in early January.
