UVM Extension is partnering with Poultney Mettowee Natural Resource Conservation Disctrict to host a free workshop on Small Ruminant grazing systems.

The morning (10 a.m. – noon) will be spent at the Sykes Hollow (2582 Route 30, Pawlet, VT 05761) to discuss how they use their goats to control invasives around the farm, and the afternoon (1:00 – 3:00 p.m.) will be at SVT Farm (1083 VT Route 30 N, Wells, VT 05764) to discuss the grazing strategies they use for their small sheep flock, including a newly planted silvopasture.

There will be lunch provided in between the two sites (site and source TBD).
