Many academic journals now accept or require graphical abstracts for this very reason. In this workshop, we will examine how you can construct an abstract as a comic and then try our hand at it ourselves. Bring your own journal article abstract, published or not, or use one we provide. This is a practice session! No comics experience necessary. We will provide all the supplies you need.
