CAT ECare - Davis Center Atrium - 9 am - 1 pm
- Catamount Emergency Care or CAT ECare is a new health and safety project that is being rolled out on the UVM campus. The CAT ECare program consists of lifesaving equipment at stations distributed around campus. CAT ECare emergency stations will include Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), bleeding control kits, and Narcan®. Stop by to learn more about this new project and how to get involved.

- Learn how to use a Fire Extinguisher and test how fast you can put out a fire - prizes for best times.

Club Sport Safety Officer Training - Jeffords Hall (Room 110) - 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
- Each of our 65 club sports has a dedicated individual in the role of Club Safety Officer. Join this training to discuss the varied responsibilities that go with this position – first aid, emergency response, hazard recognition, and incident reporting will be on the agenda!

Active Threat Response Training (Open to all students, faculty, and staff) - Lafayette L108 - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Active Threat Response is an hour long course which uses national data from past active threat incidents to inform a Run, Hide, Fight curriculum. Five different sessions of this course are being offered through the week of 9/16-9/20 at various locations across campus. Snacks provided and chances to score some free gadgets and swag.

Better Biking Workshop - Innovation Hall Room E105 - 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
- Join Local Motion, UVM TPS, UVM OOS, for a Better Biking Workshop to learn some tips on how to stay safe while riding your bike on the street and in the neighborhood, how to avoid getting your bike stolen, and answers to your questions about the rules of the road. All UVM students and employees are welcome! For showing up (and sticking around), you’ll get a FREE U-lock for your bike, FREE reflective band, and FREE pizza! (for in-person option). Spots are limited and registration is required.
