The University Concert Choir and Catamount Singers present a concert covering broad expanses of geography and mood. The program includes East Asian folksongs arranged by Chen Yi, selections from Fanny Hensel's romantic "Garden Songs" (which despite their name are actually set in the forest), and a collection of classic songs - variously humorous, vigorous, and inspiring - about Vermont and UVM itself. Then the ensembles combine to perform selections from Mozart's Requiem, his final unfinished masterpiece, and one of the pillars of the choral repertory.
