Introducing...CLUBS FOR A CAUSE: a night of basketball, school spirit, and student clubs coming together to raise money for an awesome cause!

On Friday April 18th 2025 at 7pm, come on down to the University of Vermont's Patrick Gymnasium to watch under-prepared (though incredibly enthusiastic) students play basketball! Teams facing off include members from UVM's Songwriters Circle, Sketch Comedy Club, Rescue Team, University Program Board, and more. Listen to performances by the UVM Pep Band and the Songwriters Circle, and help raise money for Burlington's King Street Center!

The King Street Center is a aftercare program in Burlington that serves families and youth who face economic insecurity and systemic marginalization to help kids find their passions.

They provide a safe space where children and youth can find nourishment, academic enrichment, recreational activities, social-emotional support, safe friendships, positive adult-relationships, and guidance throughout adolescence so they may go on and lead successful lives into adulthood! If it wasn't for programs like these in our youth, we wouldn't have found our own personal passions, so let's all give back to a local organization doing awesome work in greater Burlington!

Bring your friends, sports teams, clubs, orientation group, freshman year seminar that you haven't talked to in three years, bring your professors BRING EVERYONE. Let's all come together for a great night of UVM spirit, celebrating our incredible student clubs, and raising money for the King Street Center!
