Project Management Tools to Scaffold Service-Learning and Increase Student Ownership

RSENR Lecturer and CELO Faculty Associate Laura Edling will lead a workshop on how she has developed a course — NR 4060, a Service-Learning capstone in RSENR — that fosters a transition from the Student mindset to a professional mindset.  

A key way Laura facilitates that transition is in focusing on project management, interpersonal dynamics on teams, and on creating change. This workshop will highlight assignments and project management tools that offer support and structure, and yet also promote student ownership, initiative, and independence.
