CarShare Vermont is a mission-driven nonprofit providing a membership-based car-sharing service as an alternative to vehicle ownership in the Burlington and Winooski areas. Unlike traditional rentals, vehicles are parked at 24/7 self-accessible "pods" throughout neighborhoods, and rates include gas, insurance, and maintenance. UVM has three CarShare pods on campus - Dewey Hall, Royall Tyler Theatre, and Redstone Lofts.
