Celebrate PRIDE with UVM and Health Network Partners

Sunday, September 7

Waterfront Park & Downtown Burlington

Join your colleagues from UVM Larner College of Medicine, Cancer Center, CNHS, Health Network partners, and the UVM Prism Center for Pride in Vermont, a family-friendly celebration of queer joy, community building, and solidarity. We will march together in the parade from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on our way to a festival at Waterfront Park featuring music, drag performances, storytelling, speakers, food trucks, vendors, and community resources.

We’ll start with a pre-parade gathering 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Vermont Comedy Club with games, crafts, and sign-making, hosted by Larner and Health Network Partners. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Then we will gather at the parade start at the intersection of St. Paul and Main streets to decorate the Health Network truck, and march in solidarity on our way to Waterfront Park. REGISTER HERE BY AUGUST 31.

Pre-Parade Brunch

• Description: Join us at the Vermont Comedy Club from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (before the parade) for some brunch, games, crafts, and sign-making! It is free to join, but please note that all food and beverage purchases will be at your own cost.

Burlington Pride Parade

• Time: 12 – 1 pm
• Location: Downtown Burlington

• Description: We are excited to collaborate with all our UVM partners once again for the Burlington Vermont Pride Parade, including the UVM Health Network, UVM Cancer Center, UVM Larner College of Medicine, & UVM College of Nursing & Health Sciences.

Burlington Pride Festival

• Time: 1 - 5 pm
• Location: Waterfront Park, Burlington
• Sponsors: Pride Center of Vermont (UVMHN Sponsor)
• Description: Tabling at this event will feature the UVM Cancer Center, UVM OIE, UVM GSA, and UVMHN.

Gather at noon at the parade start at St. Paul and Main Streets to decorate the UVM Health Network truck and march in solidarity on our way to Waterfront Park.
