It is a huge honor to bring this extraordinary group of jazz musicians to the Lane Series for Valentine’s Day. Artemis is an all-star quintet featuring pianist and musical director Renee Rosnes, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, tenor saxophonist Nicole Glover, bassist Noriko Ueda, and drummer Allison Miller. Founded in 2017 in honor of International Women's Day, Artemis's performance at the 2018 Newport Jazz Festival was so electric, Blue Note Records President Don Was immediately signed the group to the legendary label.
