The 2024 Andrew Harris Legacy Reception will honor Dr. Angela E. Batista. Holding multiple intersecting identities as a Caribbean immigrant, first-generation college student, and queer woman of color, Dr. Batista is an agent of change who made lasting impacts through her activism and social justice work supporting marginalized and underrepresented communities at UVM and the broader community of Vermont.
