Three qualifying shows are available for 4-H members who are trying to qualify for Eastern States. All current 4-H Working Steer project members who want to come and show their steers are also welcome to participate. The shows are open to any 4-H member with a team listed on a 4-H Approval Form. Approval Forms, Lease/Loans (if applicable) and Animal Health Forms will be checked as animals are unloaded.

Show Classes

The three events at each show are Fitting and Showing, Cart Class and Stone Boat. Teamsters may choose which classes they would like to compete in. If they are participating to qualify for Eastern States Exposition, they must compete in all three events at each show and follow all standards and guidelines.Ribbons will be awarded at the show according to the judge’s discretion.
